·        A case under Cruelty by Husband and relatives along with Dowry Prohibition Act has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station on the complaint of Ramavathi (30) W/o Anoop R/o Karkala Taluk Udupi District. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Anoop (husband) and his relatives Thulasi, Anil, Anitha and Shobha gave physical and mental harassment to Ramavathi to bring more dowry.

·      A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 04/12/2011 at 1300 hrs Katipalla village Mangalore Taluk one Mohammad Adil driver of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-6068 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Sadiq (8) R/o Katipalla village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

·        A case under Criminal restraint, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 06/12/2011 at 1830 hrs near service station at Kulur Mangalore accused Ashok, John D’Souza, Gilbert and another person criminally restrained one Rudalf D’Souza @ Roodi (43) R/o Padukodiga village Mangalore Taluk and assaulted him by helmet, stone and hand and also gave life threat to him owing to civil dispute between them.

·     A case under Criminal restraint along with Hurt has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 06/12/2011 at 1830 hrs near service station at Kulur Mangalore accused Rudalf D’Souza @ Roodi criminally restrained one John (45) R/o Padukodiga village Mangalore Taluk and also assaulted him by stone owing to civil dispute between them.

Unnatural Death Report: 03

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 05/12/2011 at 1000 hrs one Rajan (53) R/o Munnur village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by accidentally consumed acid near his house. Further he was admitted to Yenepoya hospital at Deralakatte Mangalore where he declared dead while under treatment on 06/12/2011 at 0420 hrs.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. In between 1230 hrs and 1500 hrs of 06/12/2011 one Gopal R/o Kundapur Udupi District committed suicide by hanging in his room at Kavoor Mangalore Taluk owing to personal problem.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 12/11/2011 one Anitha (70) R/o Maharashtra state accidentally fell down while walking at Surathkal Market. Further he was admitted to Wenlock hospital at Mangalore where he declared dead while under treatment on 05/12/2011 at 0640 hrs. The death seems to be due some illness.

Missing Persons: 01

·       A case under Girl missing has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 03/12/2011 at 0715 hrs one Dhanya (27) R/o Katipalla village Mangalore Taluk went to Emphasis office at Jeppu Mangalore and did not return to her house thereafter. She has been found missing since then.
