·        A case of Robbery has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station relating to an incident of chain snatching. On 23/12/2011 at 1200 hrs at Kellaputhige village Mangalore Taluk one Rajeevi (50) R/o Kellaputhige village Mangalore Taluk was her way to her home by walk. At that time two unknown culprits snatched the Mangala suthra from her neck and ran away. The total value of stolen property is Rs. 26,000/.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 23/12/2011 at 0800 hrs in front of Mosaru Kudike Samithi at Kadri Mangalore one driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-6662 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-ED-8144. As a result motorcycle rider Ayyappa Devara Mani R/o Kadri Mangalore sustained grievous injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic West Police Station. On 23/12/2011 at 1550 hrs near Service bus stand Mangalore one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-D-2671 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Shajith R/o NMPT Mangalore and caused him grievous injuries. Further bus driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

·        A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 23/12/2011 at 1450 hrs at Syed Madani Darga Hall at Ullal village Mangalore accused Ashraf Bellary, Naju, Mansoor, Moideen Ismail abused one Abdul Rasheed (54) R/o Ullal village Mangalore in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

·        A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 23/12/2011 at 1430 hrs at Syed Madani Darga Hall at Ullal village Mangalore accused Abdul Rasheed, Fairoz and others abused one U. S. Hamza and Mohammed Ashraf in filthy language and also gave life threat to them owing to trivial issue.

Unnatural Death Report: 03

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 22/12/2011 at 1200 hrs one Bhavani (70) R/o Valencia Mangalore accidentally fell down in her house and she was admitted to Wenlock hospital Mangalore where she declared dead while under treatment on 23/12/2011 at 1910 hrs.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 14/12/2011 at 2230 hrs one Prajwal (18) R/o Chelyaru village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by consuming poison in his house owing to personal problem.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 23/12/2011 at 1630 hrs one Rajesh Sham Yadav (28) accidentally fell down near MRPL Surathakal Mangalore and he was admitted to Padmavathi hospital Surathkal where he was declared dead while under treatment on the same day. The death seems to be due to some illness.
