• A case under Murder has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On the intervening night of 04/05-11-2011 near Marigudi at Ashoknagar Urwa Mangalore some unknown culprits murdered one Mohammed (50) R/o Uchilla by assaulting him with stone.

·        A case of Robbery has been registered in Mulky Police Station relating to an incident of chain snatching. On 05/12/2011 at 1130 hrs near Thalipady village Mangalore Taluk one Mamatha.V Rao (43) w/o Vittal Rao R/o Thalipady village Mangalore Taluk was her way from home by walk. At that time one unknown persons snatched the gold chain from her neck and ran away. The value of the property is Rs. 27,000/.

Ordinary Theft: 01

·        A case under Attempt to commit theft has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On the intervening night of 04-05/12/2011 some unknown culprits gained entry into the ATM belonging to the Syndicate Bank at Balmata road Mangalore by breaking the ATM machine and attempted to committed theft.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic west Police Station. On 04/12/2011 at 1730 hrs near Ullal nursing home at Kudroli Mangalore one Prashanth rider of motor cycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EC-3359 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a active Honda scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EA-524. As a result active Honda scooter rider Sunil Devadiga R/o Panamburu Mangalore Taluk sustained simple injuries.

·        A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 04/12/2011 at 0130 hrs accused Prathik and Kalpana Shetty criminally retrained one Praveen (24) R/o Bejai Mangalore near his house and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by wooden sticks and also gave life threat to him. Owing to trivial issue.

Unnatural Death Report: 02

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Konje Police Station. On In between 04/12/2011 of 1700 hrs and 05/12/2011 of 0630 hrs one Rama.T (43) R/o Naringana village Bantwal Taluk accidentally slipped into a well near his house while taking water from the well and died due to drowning.

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 04/12/2011 at 1930 hrs one unknown male dead body aged about 50 yrs was found near K.S.R.T.C bus stand at Mangalore. It seems to be death due to illness.
