·        A case of Burglary has been registered in Urwa Police Station. In between 2000hrs of  20/12/2011 and 0800 hrs of  21/12/2011 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Ranganath Ithal R/o Kottara Mangalore Taluk by breaking the front door lock and committed theft of gold and silver ornaments all in worth Rs. 3,75,000/.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 21/12/2011 at 0845 on NH 66 at Kuloor Mangalore Taluk one Abdul Khadar passenger of the bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-7868 while getting down from the bus, the driver of bus moved the bus in a negligent manner due which he fell down from the bus and sustained simple injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 21/12/2011 at 1300 hrs at Gurupura Mangalore Taluk one Sathisha driver of Innova car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-9015 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a Honda city car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MB-4830. As a result the both car got damaged. No causalities reported.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulky Police Station. On 21/12/2011 at 1420 On NH66 at Haleyangady Mangalore Taluk one Harish Shetty driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-20-A-9853 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-20-W-4125.  As a result the motorcycle rider one Wilson D’Souza R/o Shirva Udupi Dist. sustained simple injuries.

·      A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 201/2011 at 2100 hrs accused Naaseer @ Kelti Naaseer abused one Abdul Aziz (32) R/o Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk in filthy language near Ullal village Mangalore Taluk and assaulted him with soda bottle owing to trivial issue.

·    A case of house gambling under Karnataka Police Act has been detected in Mangalore South Police Station limits. On 21/12/2011 at 0730 hrs on credible information K. Thilakchandra PI Mangalore South Police Station along with his staff conducted a raid on a public place near Central Railway Station Mangalore. At the time of raid Police found 05 persons playing “Ander- Bahar” with cards. The Police seized cash Rs. 1975/ and playing cards from the spot by arresting Akesh shetty (36), Vijay (52), Sathish (27), Gunakara (41) and Baskara (41) who were indulged in gambling.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. In between 1800 hrs of 18/12/2011 and 1100 hrs of 19/12/2011 one Koragappa Poojary R/o Kunjathbail Mangalore Taluk found dead near Kavoor Steel & Cement   Godown Kavoor Mangalore Taluk. The death seems to be due to heavy drunkenness.
