·        A case of Burglary has been registered in Panambur Police Station. Interviewing night of 25-26/06/2011 some unknown culprits gained entry into the shop at Angaragundi Baikampady village belonging to one Abdul Harshad (27) R/o Thokur village Mangalore Taluk by breaking the front door lock and committed theft of 50 mobile sets.

·        A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Criminal intimidation along with SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 26/06/2011 at 1100 hrs accused Dr. Gopalakrishna Medical Officer ESI Hospital Mangalore and Shambhavi ESI Hospital Mangalore abused one Nalini R/o ESI Hospital quarters Kadri Mangalore in filthy language and referring to their caste and also gave life threat to her owing to trivial issue.

·        A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Outrage the modesty of woman along with Hurt has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 26/06/2011 at 1300 hrs accused Shabeer and Samsheer both residents of Thokur Mangalore Taluk abused one Mamthaz (34) R/o Izaz Manzil Karnad village Mangalore Taluk in filthy language at Thokur village Mangalore Taluk and tried to outrage Mamthaz’s modesty by pulling shoulder and also assaulted her by hand owing to trivial issue.

·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 26/06/2011 at 1730 hrs near Lingappayya Kadu at Karnadu village Mangalore Taluk one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-20-V-667 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-3771. As a result Mahendra (25) rider and Lalith pillion rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-3771 sustained serious injuries. Further Mahendra admitted to AJ Hospital Mangalore where he succumunded to his injuries while under treatment. The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 26/06/2011 at 1815 hrs on NH 66 at Kulur old Bridge one Ramakrishna Kamath driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AA-8998 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which the vehicle capsized. As a result one Ramkrishna Kamath driver of lorry who was thrown out and sustained grievous injuries and died on the spot.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 25/06/2011 at 1700 hrs at Kinaya village Mangalore Taluk one Althaf rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Y-6701 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AB-6105. As a result Althaf rider and Najeeb pillion rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Y-6701 sustained grievous injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 26/06/2011 at 1630 hrs on NH 17 at Adamkudru Jappinamogru village Mangalore Taluk one Saplar rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MB-3026 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-M-3717. As a result one Laxman (42) rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-M-3717 sustained grievous injuries.
