·        A case of Burglary has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On the night of 28/05/2011some unknown culprits gained entry into the Accountant Office at MRPL Kutthethoor village Mangalore Taluk by breaking the front door lock and committed theft of cash worth Rs. 1,55,792/.

Ordinary Theft: 01

·        A case of Attempt to commit theft has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. In between 1600 hrs of 11/06/2011 and 0900 hrs of 13/06/2011 some unknown culprits gained entry into the Karnataka Vikas Grameena Bank located at Karangalapady Mangalore by breaking the shutter lock and attempted to commit theft.

·        A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Criminal Intimidation has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 13/06/2011 at 1000 hrs accused one Raghukumar abused one Anupama (29) in filthy language near Vijaya Bank building at Bejai Mangalore and gave life threat to her owing to trivial issue.

·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 12/06/2011 at 2300 hrs on NH-17 at Kulai village Mangalore Taluk one Chinnaraju driver of Tanker lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-01-B-3873 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against an Aviator scooter bearing Reg. No. KL-43-B-9663. As a result one Sujith rider of said Aviator scooter sustained serious injuries. Further he succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.

·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 13/06/2011 at 1115 hrs at Yekkaru Thenka Yekkaru village Mangalore Taluk one Abbas driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-7170 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Sanjeeva a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries. Further Sanjeeva succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.

Non-Fatal: 02

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 13/06/2011 at 1100 hrs on NH-17 at Thalapady village Mangalore Taluk one Anil Kumar driver of car bearing Reg. No. KL-59-D-127 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Aliyamma a pedestrian and caused her grievous injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 12/06/2011 at 1945 hrs near bus stand at Vidya Nagara Kavoor Mangalore one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AC-6542 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-1361. As  a result one Ammanna (49) rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-1361 sustained grievous injuries.

·        A case under Criminal restraint, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 13/06/2011 at 1320 hrs accused one Nijamuddin criminally restrained one Sanketh (17) near Bharath High school at Ullal Mangalore and assaulted him with stone and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

Missing Persons: 01

·        A case of Man missing has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. One Hemanth Rai R/o near Panduranga Bhajana Mandira Kandettu Mangalore left his house on 10/06/2011 at 0830 hrs and did not return his house thereafter. He has been found missing since then.
