·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 16/06/2011 at 1530 hrs near KB Circle at Mangalore one Razak rider of scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Y-22 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Praveen (38) R/o Jeppu Kankanady Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

·        A case under Criminal restraint, outraging the modesty of women along with Hurt has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 16/06/2011 at 1930 hrs accused Farooq, Ibrahim and Javed criminally restrained Suraj and Sharmila R/o Santhosh nagar Munnur village Mangalore Taluk near their house and abused suraj in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and outraged the modesty of Sharmila by pulling her hand and also gave life threat to them owing to trivial issue.

·        A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 16/06/2011 at 1930 hrs accused Suraj criminally restrained Farooq R/o Santhoshnagar Munnur village Mangalore Taluk near his house and abused suraj by filthy language and assaulted him by hand owing to trivial issue.

·        A case of Girl missing has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 16/06/2011 at 0830 hrs one Sinchana (16) R/o Mallanduru Chikmagaluru District who was residing at Holy Rosario hostel at Jeppu Mangalore went out to college and did not return to the hostel there after. She has been found missing since then.
