·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Konaje Station. On 27/09/2011 at 1845 hrs at Boliyar village Mangalore Taluk one P. Bashir driver of Tipper lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-20-4354 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-5646. As a result motorcycle rider one Ummar Farooq and pillion rider one K. Mohammad Haris R/o Boliyar village Mangalore Taluk sustained grievous injuries.

·        A case under 86, 87 Karnataka Forest Act along with theft has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 28/09/2011 at 1245 hrs at Borugudde Thenka Yedapadav Mangalore Taluk PSI Bajpe PS along with his staff on credible information apprehended Jayanth Poojary (27) R/o Borugudde Yedapadav village Mangalore Taluk for transporting 7.5 kgs sandal wood pieces illegally worth of Rs 10,500/ has been seized. It is learnt that these sandal wood pieces have been stolen somewhere else by the accused. The total value of seized property is Rs. 10,500/.
