·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 31/08/2011 at 1430 hrs near Bharathi Ship Yard Thannirubavi Mangalore one Firoz rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-3851 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-20-U-587. As a result one Lestter Bradly D’Almeda R/o Yelinje village Mangalore Taluk sustained grievous injuries. The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

·        A case under Rioting, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 07/09/2011 at 2145 hrs near Vishwas Bulding at 7th block Krishnapura accused Aboobakkar, Hameed, Ashraf, Nazeer and Rahim @ Gulla Haneef and others forming into an unlawful assembly and abused one Mohammed Areef (26) R/o 7th block Krishnapura Katipalla village Mangalore Taluk in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and with iron rod and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

·        A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 08/09/2011 at 1930 hrs accused one Ravi and other 04 persons abused one Shivaprasad (37) R/o Pachanadi village Bondel Mangalore in filthy language near Central Market at Mangalore and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

Missing Persons: 02

·        A case of Woman missing has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. One Sakamma (18) R/o Tippu Sultan Nagar Mangalore Taluk left her house on 08/09/2011 at 1800 hrs and did not return to her house thereafter. She has been found missing since then.

·        A case of Man missing has been registered in Panambur Police Station. One Valerian D’souza (65) R/o Niddodi village Mangalore Taluk left his house on 29/07/2011 at 0915 hrs went out to Goa and did not return to his house thereafter. He has been found missing since then.
