·        A case of Burglary has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. In between 0700 hrs of 10/09/2011 and 1730 hrs of 11/09/2011 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Shivashankar (42) R/o Kulai village Mangalore Taluk by breaking the window grills and committed a theft of gold ornaments worth Rs. 85,000/.

·        A case of MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. In between 2330 hrs of 19/08/2011 and 0730 hrs of 20/08/2011 some unknown culprits committed theft of a Bajaj pulsar motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-16-Q-7793 belonging to one Shailesh Pai (27) R/o Bhatkal Uttara Kannada Dist. that was parked in the parking place of Tejaswini hospital Mangalore. The total value of stolen vehicle is Rs. 35,000/.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 11/09/2011 at 1945 hrs near Cargo gate at M.R.P.L Mangalore one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-L-3801 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Anugraha Narayana Yadav (6) R/o Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic West Police Station. On 12/09/2011 at 1045 hrs near Kuntikana Junction Mangalore Taluk one Deepak driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-9827 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motor cycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-8349. As a result motorcycle driver Vijay (24) R/o Kavoor village Mangalore Taluk sustained simple injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 11/09/2011 at 1700 hrs near Thakode at pacchemugeru village Mangalore Taluk one Keshava shetty driver of bus Reg. No. KA-19-AB-7777 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against another bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-3098. As a result one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-3098 Balakrishna and passenger Agness D’costa (39) R/o Sangabettu village Bantwal Taluk sustained grievous injuries.

·        A case under Rioting, Hurt, Criminal restraint, mischief causing the damage, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 12/09/2011 at 1900 hrs accused Fitter Harish, Weldor Sudhakar, Janardhan Borugudde and others came in different motorcycles and forming into an unlawful assembly at Thenka Yedapadavu village Mangalore Taluk and criminally restrained a tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-02-B-679 and abused Ashoka and Chennayya in filthy language and assaulted them by hand and with iron rod and damaged the tempo by using iron rod and also gave life threat to them owing to trivial issue.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 11/09/2011 at 1840 hrs one Ravi (28) R/o Kana katla Idya village Surathkal Mangalore accidentally slipped and washed away in the sea while he was taking bath at Seashore Surathkal Mangalore and died due to drowning.
