·        A case under Cruelty by husband, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Attempt to murder has been registered in Kavoor Police Station on the complaint of one Rani (36) w/o Raja R/o Moodushedde Mangalore. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Raja (husband) abused her in filthy language and gave physical and mental harassment to one her and also attempted to kill her by pouring kerosene oil to her. As a result Rani sustained serious injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 03/09/2011 at 1600 hrs at near MRPL Road at LP Gate Surathkal Mangalore Taluk one Venkatesh driver of JCB bearing Reg. No. PY-01-V-9806 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-20-L-5975. As a result motorcycle got damaged and no casualties reported.

·        A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 04/09/2011 at 1315 hrs accused Abbas Ali Madaka R/o Amblamogaru village Mangalore Taluk criminally restrained one Santhosh Kumar (29) R/o Amblamogaru village Mangalore Taluk near his house and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

·        A case of Gambling under Karnataka Police Act has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 04/09/2011 at 1745 hrs on credible information PSI Moodabidre PS along with staff conducted a raid on open place near Kayar Muger Niddodi village Mangalore Taluk. At the time of raid Police found 08 persons playing “Ander- Bahar” with cards. The Police seized cash Rs. 1,700/ and playing cards from the spot by arresting Dayananda and Roopesh who were indulged in gambling. However other accused Umesh Gowda, Dooda Gowda, Ganesh Gowda, Mohan Gowda, Madahavayya and Narayana Gowda manages to escape from the scene. Total worth of seized property is Rs. 1,700/.

Unnatural Death Report: 02

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 04/09/2011 at 1200 hrs one Avaral D’souza (60) R/o Ullal Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by pouring kerosene on himself owing to health problem.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. In between 1700 hrs and 1800 hrs of 04/09/2011 one Radhika R/o Daregudde village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by hanging owing to personal problem.
