Motor Vehicle Theft: 01

·        A case of MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. In between 1400 hrs and 1830 hrs of 17/09/2011 some unknown culprits committed theft of a Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Y-1444 belonging to one Alex Anthony (25) R/o Vidya Nagar Mangalore that was parked in the parking place of Town hall at Mangalore. The total value of stolen vehicle is Rs. 40,000/.

Fatal: 01

·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 17/09/2011 at 1815 hrs at Yekkur Kankanady village Mangalore one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Y-1444 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and suddenly applied break due which the driver lost control over his vehicle and motorcycle capsized. As a result one unknown male pillion rider of said motorcycle fell down from the motorcycle and a lorry passed on his head got serious injuries. Further he died on the spot.

Non-Fatal: 02

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic West Police Station. On 16/09/2011 at 2230 hrs near Ballal Baugh busstand at M.G. Road Mangalore one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-20-S-9968 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against Prema Nayak and Ramanath Nayak pedestrians and caused them simple injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 17/09/2011 at 0600 hrs near Total Gas Filling Yard at Jokatte Mangalore Taluk one Vadivelu driver of tanker bearing Reg. No. KA-01-D-1396 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and suddenly applied break due which the driver lost control over his vehicle and tanker capsized. As a result Nallu Swami (36) cleaner of said tanker thrown out of the tanker and caused him grievous injuries.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 17/09/2011 one Stella Mendonsa (47) R/o Thenka Mijaru village Mangalore Taluk accidentally slipped into the pond while washing cloth near her house. The death seems to be due to drowning.
