·        A case under Robbery has been registered in Surathkal Police Station relating to an incident of chain snatching. On 14/09/2011 at 2000 hrs near Vishnumurthi Temple at Kulai Mangalore Taluk one Lalitha (60) R/o Kulai Mangalore Taluk was at shop near her home. At that time, one unknown person came to her shop and snatched the gold chain from her neck and escaped from the place. The value of property is worth Rs. 64,000/.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic West Police Station. On 13/09/2011 at 1915 hrs near Neharu Avenue at Lalbhag Mangalore Taluk one Bharath rider of motorcycle Reg. No. KA-20-K-8661 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a Maruthi Alto car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MB-1909. As a result motorcycle rider one Bharath sustained simple injuries.

·        A case under Criminal restraint, Hurt, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, outraging the modesty of women along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 14/09/2011 at 0920 hrs Raghavendra Rao and Madhusudan criminally restrained one Sowmya (25) R/o Kodialbail Mangalore near her house and abused her in filthy language and assaulted her by hand and tried to outrage her modesty by pulling her hand also gave life threat to her owing to civil dispute between them.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 05/09/2011 at 1915 hrs one Meghashri (18) R/o Davanagere Dist. accidentally collided against a train at Jokatte Railway Track Kenjaru village Mangalore Taluk. Further she was admitted to Wenlock hospital Mangalore where he declared dead while under treatment on 13/09/2011 at 1820 hrs.
