·        A case of Robbery has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station relating to an incident of chain snatching. On 09/09/2011 at 1330 hrs near Railway Station at Alape village Mangalore one Bhavya (26) R/o H.B.H Layout Bangalore was on her way to house by walk. At that time one unknown persons snatched the Mangalasutra from his neck ran away. The value of the property is Rs. 45,000/.

·        A case of MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. In between 1100 hrs and 1130 hrs of 28/08/2011 some unknown culprits committed theft of a Hero Honda Splendor Plus motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-9962 belonging to one Harish (31) R/o Shakthi Nagar Mangalore Taluk that was parked in the parking place of Wenlock Hospital Mangalore. The total value of stolen vehicle is Rs. 20,000/.

·        A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 09/09/2011 at 1215 hrs accused Herald Lobo criminally restrained one Lidwin Lobo (56) R/o Munnur Village Mangalore Taluk near her house and abused her in filthy language and assaulted her by hand and also gave life threat her owing to civil dispute.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic West Police Station. On 09/09/2011 at 1030 hrs near Bharath Mall at K.S.R.T.C Junction Mangalore one Indhira Rai rider of Honda active Scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-1107 drove her vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Kusuma R/o Gurumatha Nilaya Kadri Mangalore a Pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 09/09/2011 at 0900 hrs near Manjanady bus stand at Manjanady Mangalore Taluk one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-7355 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and applied break suddenly due which one Mohammad Shabeer R/o Kinya village Mangalore Taluk a Passenger of said bus was thrown out from the said bus and caused him simple injuries.

·        A case under Causing Grievous hurt by endangering life (sec 338) and Causing death due to negligence (sec 304 A) has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 09/09/2011 at 1145 hrs Harish Gowda (29) Chenappa Gowda (30) Nagaraja (31) who were working in building at Puttige Village Moodabidre accidentally fell down to ground and got serious injuries due to the negligence of contractor Kumar Gowda, engineer Benny Mathew and owner Herald D’ Souza.. Wherein one Harish Gowda sustained serious injuries and died on the spot.
