·        A case of Ordinary Theft has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. In between 1130 hrs and 1155 hrs of 20/04/2012 some unknown culprits committed theft of cash Rs. 4,72,000/. that was kept inside the car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MF-1517 belonging to one Steven Cutinha (35) R/o Padavy village Mangalore that was parked in the premise of DC office Mangalore.

·        A case under Criminal restraint, Hurt, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 20/04/2012 at 1615 hrs accused Rahul and 03 other persons criminally restrained one Keerthan (24) R/o Attavara Mangalore at Balmatta Mangalore abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

·        A case under Hurt, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 19/04/2012 at 1500 hrs in Paladka Grama Panchayath office at Moodabidre Mangalore Taluk accused one Krishna Shetty abused Praveen Siqueira (25) R/o Puthige village Moodabidre in filthy and assaulted him by hand also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue. He also assaulted Sundara who came to help Praveen Siqueira.

·        A case Criminal restraint along with Kidnapping has been registered in Mangalroe South Police Station. On 20/04/2012 at 1845 hrs at Bolar Mangalroe accused Vithesh and other persons came in a Maruti Omni car and criminally restrained Revathi (48) R/o Jeppu Mangalore and her daughter Likhitha (29) while on way to their house and kidnapped Likhitha.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Konaje Police Station. In between 18/04/2012 and 20/04/2012 at 1000 hrs one Bazil D,Souza (60) R/o Pandikatte Kairangala village Bantwal Taluk committed suicide by hanging near his house owing to personal problem.
