·        A case of Burglary has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On the night of 08/04/2012 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Narayanan R/o Nethravathi lay out Garodi Mangalore by breaking the front door lock and committed theft of Silver article, Watch, Sony Handy Camera and cash Rs. 1,200/. The total worth of stolen property is yet to be estimated.

·        A case of MV Theft has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. In between 1530 hrs and 1600 hrs of 07/04/2012 some unknown culprits committed theft of a Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Y-8747 belonging to one Yajnesh Karkera R/o Surathkal Mangalore that was parked at public place at Surathkal market Mangalore. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 40,000/.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 08/04/2012 at 1630 hrs at Capitanio Mangalore one Maruti driver of Maruti Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-6670 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against an Auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-D-1606 from behind. As a result Auto rickshaw driver Shankar R/o Maroli Mangalore and Sowmyalatha who was traveling in said Auto rickshaw sustained grievous injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 07/04/2012 at 1630 hrs at Gandhi nagar Mangalore one K. Sudharshan Hegde driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-21-M-7675 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one M Mohammed (42) R/o Surathkal village Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

·        A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 08/04/2012 at 1730 hrs at Kuloor village Mangalore Taluk accused Yamanoora abused one Mailari (20) R/o Kouloor Mangalore in filthy language and assaulted him with stone owing to trivial issue.
