·   A case of Burglary has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. In between 1130 hrs and 1400 hrs of 16/04/2012 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Shobha S. Devadiga (38) R/o Kadir Mangalore by breaking the door lock and committed a theft of gold ornaments all in worth Rs. 1,33,500/.

·       A case under Cruelty by husband and his relatives along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Surathkal Police Station on the complaint of one Thahira (37) W/o Mohammed Shareef R/o Katipalla village Mangalore Taluk. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Mohammed Shareef (husband) gave physical and mental harassment to one Thahira to bring more dowry and also gave life threat to her.

·         A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 16/04/2012 at 0500 at RTO Chekpost Talapady village Mangalore one driver of KSRTC Bus bearing Reg. No. KL-15-9184 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an Eicher Lorry bearing Reg. No. KL-17-B-6936. As a result some passengers who were traveling in said bus sustained simple injuries.

·         A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 15/04/2012 at 0930 at Silvergate Padavu Kulshekar Mangalore one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-L-8326 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Florina D Silva R/o Padavu post Mangalore a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.

·         A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 14/04/2012 at 1030 at Kankanadi village Pampwell Mangalore one Fakruddin driver of car bearing Reg. No. KL-14-L-2691 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-K-8415. As a result one pillion rider of motorcycle Ganesh Achari R/o Permannur village Mangalore sustained grievous injuries.

Unnatural Death Report: 02

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 15/04/2012 at 1500 hrs one Francis D’Souza R/o Bangarakuloor Mangalore was haccidentally slipped into the Phalguni river at Kuloor Mangalore and died due drowning.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On the night of 15/04/2012 one Janardhana R/o Derebailu Mangalore was found dead in his house. The death seems to be due some illness.
