The following are the crimes reported in Mangalore City Police Commissionerate during the last 24 hrs as at 1600 hrs on 19/04//2012.

Ordinary Theft: 02
·    A case under Ordinary Theft has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. In between 0900 hrs and 0945 hrs on 18/04/2012 some unknown culprits committed theft of gold ornaments, ATM cards and cash Rs.1200/ from bag belonging to one Indira Hariram (55) R/o Tenkanidiyur village Udupi while she was traveling in a bus from Pilikula to Kudupu Temple Mangalore.
·      A case of Ordinary Theft has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. In between 2300 hrs on 17/04/2012 and 0700 hrs on 18/04/2012 some unknown culprits committed theft of 04 tyres, two seats with accessories from the Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-7849 belonging to one Mahesh Kumar R/o Kaikamba Puttur Taluk that was parked at near at Kottara Chowki Mangalore Taluk. The stolen property is worth Rs. 15,000/.

·       A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 18/04/2012 at 0615 hrs on NH 66 at Bykampadi village Mangalore Taluk one driver of Tata 207 Jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MB-762 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MB-762. As a result motorcycle rider Sirajuddin sustained serious injuries and died on the spot. Wherein pillion rider his wife Khathijamma succumbed to her injuries while under treatment.

·      A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 17/04/2012 at 1945 hrs on NH 66 Bappanadu Village Mulki Mangalore Taluk one Javed rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-04-EF-6147 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Vaman R/o Bappanadu village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused grevious injuries.

Unnatural Death Report: 03
·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 18/04/2012 at 1600 hrs one unidentified male dead body aged about 50yrs to 55 yrs was found in highly decomposed stage near Mangalore club Morgansgate Mangalore.
·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 14/04/2012 at 0600 hrs one Eshwara (60) R/o Ullal village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by consuming some poison in his house owing to personal problem and admitted to Wenlock hospital Mangalore. Where he declared dead while under treatment on 18/04/2012 at 0640 hrs.
·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 18/04/2012 at 1500 hrs one unidentified male dead body aged about 40yrs to 45 yrs was found on sea shore at Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk. The death seems to be due to drowning.
