·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 12/04/2012 at 2040 hrs on NH 66 at Panambur Mangalore Taluk one Unknown driver of Unknown vehicle drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-L-8986. As a result motorcycle rider Vijay Acharya and pillion rider Adarsh (24) R/o Kukkeri village Belthangady Taluk sustained serious injuries. Further one Vijaya Acharya succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital. The unknown vehicle driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 12/04/2012 at 0930 hrs at Thalippadi village Mangalore Taluk one Shrinivasa driver of maruthi omni bearing Reg. No. KA-19-M-7619 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EA-5286 As a result motorcycle rider Hemanth Kumar (16) Mennabettu Mangalore Taluk and pillion riders Lavanya (12) and Ananda Poojary sustained simple injuries.
