·        A case of MV theft has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 03/04/2012 In between 2200 hrs and 2230 hrs some unknown persons committed theft of a Tanker Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-09-4269 belonging to one Asif U (30) R/o Udupi District which was parked in near his house. The Tanker lorry is worth Rs. 6, 00,000/.

Crime against Women: 01

·  A case under Cruelty by husband along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station on the complaint of one Vidya w/o Veenith R/o Samathosh nagar Vamanjooru Mangalore Taluk. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Veenith (husband) gave physical and mental harassment to one Vidya and also gave life threat to her.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 03/04/2012 at 1000 hrs at Padumarnadu village Mangalore Taluk one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-7611 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner due which one Sheak Mohiddin Buden Saheb  (52) R/o Beluvai village Mangalore Taluk who was traveling in the said bus was thrown out of the bus and sustained simple injuries.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. 04/04/2012 at 1130 hrs one Ranjith R/o Bajal village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by hanging in his house owing to personal problem.

Missing Persons: 01

·        A case of Man missing has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. One Rahul Patidhar R/o NITK hostel Surathkal Mangalore Taluk who left his hostel on 04/04/2012 at 2100 hrs did not return thereafter. He has been found missing since then.
