·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 29/01/2011 at 0610 hrs on SH-48 at Kannur Mangalore one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-01-C-4943 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided one Haji Hasanabba a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries and died on the spot.

·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 29/01/2011 at 0700 hrs on SH-48 at Naguri Mangalore one driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-18-9481 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided one unknown pedestrian and caused him serious injuries and died on the spot.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 29/01/2011 at 1230 hrs in front of KSRTC bus stand at Bejai Mangalore one driver of Tata Ace vehicle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-7925 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided one Ananda (70) R/o Ashoknagara Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic West Police Station. On 26/01/2011 at 1830 hrs at Ballal Bhag Mangalore one unknown motorcycle rider drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided one Joshua George (18) R/o Kerala State a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries. The unknown motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.  

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 26/01/2011 at 1400 hrs in front of Post office at Beeri Kotekar village Mangalore Taluk one Kishore driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MA-3859 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided one Kamakshi (70) R/o Someshwara village Mangalore  Taluk a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.

·        A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 29/01/2011 at 1530 hrs accused Keerthan and another unknown person criminally restrained and abused one Prajwal (19) R/o Vasanthi Nagara Maroli Mangalore near Thandoor Bar & Restaurant at Karangalapady Mangalore in filthy language and assaulted him by hand owing to personal enmity.

·        A case under Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 28/01/2011 at 1930 hrs near Kasaba Bengre at Panambur Mangalore accused Raizu, Navaz and Thowsif assaulted Irfan (26) and Javed by hand and with knife and also gave life threat to them owing to trivial issue.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 27/01/2011 at 1530 hrs one Ramesh Poojary (35) R/o Nelligudde Kallabettu village Mangalore Taluk attempt to commit suicide by consuming poison in his house owing to personal problem. Further he was admitted to Alvas hospital at Moodabidre where he declared dead while under treatment on 29/01/2011 at 0630 hrs.
