· A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 24/01/2011 at 0845 hrs on NH-17 at Tharethota Mangalore two riders of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-5473 and KA-19-Y-2951 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-7095. As a result both motorcycles rider sustained simple injuries.
· A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic West Police Station. On 24/01/2011 at 1145 hrs in front of Manas Tower at PVS circle Mangalore one driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-5250 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Sahul Hameed (43) R/o Madikeri District a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

On 24/01/2011 at 2100 hrs accused Santhosh Shetty, Srinivas Shetty, Bavu, Aruna, Gladson and other 10 unknown persons forming into unlawful assembly and abused one Sathish S (26) R/o Asaigoli Konaje village Mangalore Taluk in filthy language near his house and referring to his caste and assaulted him with stones and also gave life threat him owing to trivial issue.
· A case under Rioting, House trespass along with Mischief of causing damage has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 24/01/2011 at 2140 hrs accused unknown 50 persons forming into an unlawful assembly and criminally trespassed into the Bangalore Ayyangar Bakery at Asaigoli Konaje village Mangalore Taluk belonging to Mahesh Kumar (23) and damaged the Show case Board, Bakery Products and others owing to previous enmity. The damage is caused about Rs. 31, 00,000/.

On 24/01/2011 at 2100 hrs accused Ravindra Pattori, Dayananda Shettigar, Rajesh Kana and others forming into an unlawful assembly and assaulted one Santhosh Kumar Shetty (46) at Asaigoli Konaje village Mangalore Taluk and assaulted him with stones and with wooden stick owing to trivial issue.

On 24/01/2011 at 1100 hrs accused 2 unknown persons abused one Mohammed Basheer (31) R/o Ganadabettu Kannur Mangalore near Valencia circle at Mangalore and assaulted him by hand and with iron punch and also gave life threat him owing to trivial issue.

On 23/01/2011 at 2015 hrs on credible information ACP Mangalore City along with his staff conducted raid on Karuna Lodge at Old Kent road Mangalore and arrested Mohammed Nihad, Juheb Bolar, Owner of Karuna Lodge and Manager of Karuna Lodge who were soliciting for prostitution there.
