·        A case of MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. In between 2000 hrs and 2130 hrs of 20/01/2011 some unknown culprits committed theft of a Splender Plus motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-4548 belonging to one Vijya R/o Neermarga Mangalore that was parked in front of Ladies Club at LHH road Mangalore. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 15,000/.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic West Police Station. On 22/01/2011 at 1600 hrs in front of Cooperation office at Lalbhag Mangalore one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-8699 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-9754. As a result one Girish (30) R/o Dharmasthala village Belthangady Taluk rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.  

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 22/01/2011 at 2230 hrs at Geerukatte junction Karnadu village Mangalore Taluk one driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-1153 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against another auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-1401. As a result Vijaya Kumar driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No . KA-19-B-1401 and Sinchana who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.

·        A case under Rioting, Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Attempt to Murder has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 22/01/2011 at 2230 hrs accused Shakeer, Yakub, Usman, Hasan Bhava, Musthafa, Sali, Chota Siraj, Farooq and others forminng into an unlawfull assembly  at Kallabettu Bajal village Mangalore Taluk and stopped a car bearing Reg. No. KL-60-B-453 assaulted Riyaz (32), Ibrahim and Ummar Farooq with deadly weapons who were traveling in the same car and they also tried to kill them and also gave life threa to them owing to trivial issue.

·        A case under  Criminal intimidation, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 22/01/2011 at 2030 hrs accused Salam and Imran criminally restrained one Ranjith R/o near Railway track Idya village Mangalore Taluk near his house and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 22/01/2011 at 0800 hrs one Narayana Mesthri R/o Chilimbi Mangalore accidentally fell down while walking near Lady hill church at Mangalore and died on the spot. The death seems to be due some illness.

Missing Persons: 02

·        A case of Boy missing has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. One Suresha (62) R/o Monkey stand Mangalore left his house on 21/01/2011 at 1215 hrs and did not returned to his house thereafter. He has been found missing since then.

·        A case of Girl missing has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 19/01/2011 at 0900 hrs one Anjana Sonkar (20) R/o Bypass road Kankanady Mangalore went to St Agnes College at Mangalore and did not return to her house there after. She has been found missing since.
