·        A case of MV Theft has been registered in Barke Police Station. In between 2100 hrs of 31/12/2010 and 0100 hrs of 01/01/2011 some unknown culprits committed theft of a TVS Suzuki motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-K-2099 belonging to one Pradeep Kumar K.L R/o Kodialbai Mangalore that was parked in the parking place of Suvarna  Arcarde Bejai Mangalore. The TVS Suzuki motorcycle is worth Rs. 10,000/.

·        A case under Cruelty by Husband and relatives, Dowry Prohibition Act along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Women Police Station on the complaint of Fathima Shneha @ Shneha Ahammed (23) W/o Abdhul Sammad Husain R/o Sasihithlu Surathkal Mangalore. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Fathima Shneha @ Shneha Ahammed (husband) and his relatives Khathija Husain (55), Ayeesha Suhan (23), Mohammed Sunin (28) and Mohammed Shameer (29) gave physical and mental harassment to Fathima Shneha @ Shneha Ahammed to bring more dowry and also gave life threat to her.

·        A case under Rioting, House trespass, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt, Outrage modesty of woman along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 25/01/2011 at 1800 hrs accused Hajira, Raziya, Ramlatha, Imran and Faizal forming into an unlawful assembly and criminally trespassed into the house belonging to one Shailaja (17) R/o Shivanagara Moodushedde Mangalore and abused her and her mother Harinakshi in filthy language and assaulted her  and her mother by hand and also outraged her modesty by pulling her hand owing to financial dispute between them.

·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 26/01/2011 at 0730 hrs near Sri Maha Ganapathi Temple at Ganjimatta Badagulipady village Mangalore Taluk one Srikanth driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-865 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-8618. As a result motorcycle rider Poovappa Gowda and Krishna Gowda pillion rider said motorcycle sustained serious injuries and died on the spot.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 26/01/2011 at 1330 hrs near Pandeshwar Katte at Mangalore one Praveen Chandra Rai driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-833 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-J-3532. As a result one Mohammed Sharif (60) R/o Mangalore rider of said scooter sustained simple injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 26/01/2011 at 0830 hrs near Balmatta circle at Mangalore one driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-3673 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-K-6319. As a result Yeldos Kuriyan (48) R/o Valencia Mangalore and Sosamma Varges pillion rider of said scooter sustained grievous injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station.  On 26/01/2011 at 2005 hrs in front of Fire Service office at Kuntikana Mangalore one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-4544 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-1119. As a result both motorcycle riders and pillion riders of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 26/01/2011 at 1400 hrs at Meenakaliya road Panambur Mangalore one driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-20-AB-7027 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-459. As a result motorcycle rider Paramanda and Geetha pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.    

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 26/01/2011 at 1430 hrs on NH-17 at Arkula village Mangalore Taluk one Mutthupandi driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-01-D-9322 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Mohammed Jaheer (07) a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

Missing Persons: 01

·        A case of Boy missing has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 25/01/2011 at 0830 hrs one Hemanth (16) R/o Vamanjoor Thiruvail village Mangalore Taluk went to school at St. Raymond School Vamanjoor and did not return his house thereafter. He has been found missing since then.
