On 17/05/2012 T 0745 hrs at Kilpady village Mangalore Taluk one Kusuma (45) R/o Kilpady village Mangalore Taluk was her way from home by walk. At that time two unknown persons came in to motorcycle snatched the gold chain from her neck and ran away. The value of the property is Rs. 80,000/.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 16/05/2012 at 0745 hrs at Kulashekarea Mangalore one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EB-3802 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Jalajakshi R/o Vamajoor Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Surathkal  Police Station. On 17/05/2012 in between 1000 hrs and 1700 hrs one unknown male dead body aged about 70 yrs found near service bus stand at Surathkal Junction Managlore Taluk. The death seems to be due to some illness.
