·         A case of MV theft has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. In between 1400 hrs of 02/05/2012 and 1900 hrs of 05/05/2012 some unknown persons committed theft of a Hero Honda Passion plus bearing Reg. No. KA-13-N-9075 belonging to one Shinmu (29) R/o Bejai New road Mangalore Taluk which was parked near open place at Centrol railway station Mangalore. The Hero Honda Passion plus is worth Rs. 17,000/.

• A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 07/05/2012 at 2050 hrs on NH 66 Surathkal Mangalore one unknown vehicle driver drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Y-1361. As a result rider of motorcycle one Sumith Raj caused him serious injuries. Further he was died on the spot. The unknown vehicle driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 07/05/2012 at 0830 hrs at Kuduremukha junction Panambur Mangalore Taluk one Chethan rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-500 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-18-K-6546. As a result motorcycle rider one Venkatesha R/o Kavoor Mangalore Taluk sustained simple injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 07/05/2012 at 0930 hrs on NH 66 Kuduremukha junction Panambur Mangalore Taluk one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-6959 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Santhosh R/o Kalasakoppa village Mundagodu Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 06/05/2012 at 1515 hrs at Balepuni village Bantwal Taluk one Harish rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EE-9270 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and motorcycle rider lost control over his vehicle due which motorcycle capsized. As a result motorcycle rider Harish and pillion rider Sanketh (28) R/o Balepuni village Bantwal Taluk sustained grievous injuries.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic West Police Station. On 07/05/2012 at 0920 hrs at Near Kandathpalli Mangalore Taluk one Ajay Kumar rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EB-4231 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-7252. As a result motorcycle rider one Ajay Kumar sustained simple injuries.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 06/05/2012 at 1830 hrs one Shanthamma (49) R/o Jyothinagara Kunjathbailu Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by hanging in his house owing to personal problem.

Missing Persons: 01

·        A case of Girl missing has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. One Kanya @ Kanya Kumari (19) R/o Hosabettu village Mangalore Taluk left her house on 06/05/2012 at 1100hh hrs and did not return to her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
