·     A case of MV theft has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 27/04/2012 between 0810 hrs and 1900 hrs some unknown persons committed theft of a Hero Honda Splendor motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-L-4477 belonging to one Prashanth Kumar (40) R/o Babugudde Mangalore Taluk which was parked in public place at Wenlock Hospital Mangalore Taluk. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 18,000/.

·   A case under Cruelty by husband along with Abetment of suicide has been registered in Bajpe Police Station on the complaint of one Indira Naik (38) R/o Badaga Yekkaru village Mangalore. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Sathish (35) gave physical and mental harassment to his wife one Baby (30) R/o Badaga Yekkaru village Mangalore to bring more dowry due to which on 01/05/2012 she was committed suicide by committed suicide by hanging in her house.

·       A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic West Police Station. On 30/04/2012 at 2130 hrs at Kodikal Mangalore Taluk one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EE-4488 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against Honda Activa bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-5966. As a result rider of scooter one Padmavathi R Nayak (50) R/o Kodikal Ashoknagar Mangalore sustained simple injuries. The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

·   A case under Criminal restraint, Hurt, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 30/04/2012 at 1805 hrs accused Mohiddin Kunhi, Nazar and Arafath criminally restrained one Charle Anthony Pinto (52) R/o Amtaru village Bantwal Taluk at Mithakodi village Kurnadu Bantwal Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him.

·      A case under the Prevention of Immoral Traffic Act has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 01/05/2012 at 1400 hrs on credible information PI Urwa PS along with his staff conducted raid on building at Kodikal Mangalore and arrested Padma, Jaya, Maimuna, Zohara, Nebhiza, Biju Sebestian, Jamsher and Madhukar who were soliciting for prostitution there.

·        A case of Man missing has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 30/04/2012 at 2045 hrs one Shridhar (20) R/o Kankanady Mangalore who left his house on 30/04/2012 at 2045 hrs and did not return to his house thereafter. He has been found missing since then.
