·        A case under Cruelty by Husband and his relatives along with Dowry Prohibition Act has been registered in Mangalore Women Police Station on the complaint of one Manjula (22) W/o Rajesh R/o Panjimogaru village Mangalore. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Rajesh R/o Attavara Mangalore (husband) and his relatives gave physical and mental harassment to Manjula to bring more dowry.

·        A case under Criminal Restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Ullal Police Station. In between 11/10/2011 and 20/10/2011 accused Zubaida, Misriya and Imran criminally restrained one Ayishas Jusiya (18) R/o Uppala Kasaragod Kerala State at Kumpala Byepass Someshwar village Mangalore Taluk and abused her in filthy language and assaulted her by hand and also gave life threat to her owing to family dispute.

·         A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 26/10/2011 at 2030 hrs near Bendoorwel junction Mangalore one driver of KSRTC Volvo Bus bearing Reg. No. KA-01-F-8003 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a Scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-H-9301. As a result Scooter rider one Balakrishna jogi (46) R/o Valencia Mangalore sustained grievous injuries.

Unnatural Death Report: 02

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 26/10/2011 at 1610 one unknown person aged about 50 years was found dead near Kadri Park Mangalore. The death seems to be a case of suicide.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Ullal Police Station. In between 25/10/2011 and 1400 hrs of 26/10/2011 one Ravi aged about 45-50 years was found dead near Commercial Checkpost at Thokkottu Permannur village Mangalore Taluk. The death seems to be due to some illness.

Missing Persons: 01

·        A case of Man missing has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. One Abdul Rehman (48) R/o Kasaragod Kerala State left from Omega hospital Mangalore and went to Statebank Mangalore on 24/10/2011 at 1100 hrs and did not return to his house thereafter. He has been found missing since then.
