In between 2030 hrs and 2100 hrs of 01/10/2011 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Lalitha (36) R/o Ananth Sadana Building Kudroli G.T. Road Mangalore by breaking front door lock  and committed theft of gold ornaments. The total value of stolen property Rs. 2, 50,000/.

·        A case of Ordinary Theft has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 01/10/2011 at 1508 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of Compaq Laptop that was kept in a table at S.N. Cyber centre at K.S. Rao Road Mangalore belonging to one Sherli Crasta (22) R/o Sampaje Sullia Taluk. The value of stolen property Rs. 35,000/.

·        A case of Ordinary Theft has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 01/10/2011 at 1745 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of gold chain belonging to one Lalitha K. Shetty (65) R/o Padavinangady Kavoor Mangalore Taluk while she was travelling from New Chithra Junction to Temple Square in a bus. The value of stolen property Rs. 48,000/.

Motor Vehicle Theft: 01

·        A case of MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. In between 1250 hrs and 1325 hrs of 15/04/2011 some unknown culprits committed theft of a Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EA-2473 belonging to one Nasir Khair Khan Mohammad R/o Bunder Mangalore that was parked near Devi Temple at Police Lane Mangalore. The total value of stolen vehicle is Rs. 30,000/.

·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 01/10/2011 at 2120 hrs on NH 66 at in front of Hotel Saifood at Kulai Mangalore Taluk one unknown driver of 4 wheeler vehicle drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Alagapton (60) a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries and died on the spot. The vehicle driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 01/10/2011 at 1430 hrs near Souza Chicken centre at Bikarnakatte Mangalore one Praveen driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AE-30 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner due which one Ramesh Poojary was traveling in the said bus was thrown out of the bus and sustained grievous injuries.

·        A case under Man missing has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. One Joseph Rosario (58) R/o Kulshekhar Mangalore Taluk left his house on 30/09/2011 at 1100 hrs did not return to his house thereafter. He has been found missing since then.
