·       A case under Murder has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On night of 10/10/2011 at Felix Pai bazaar Mangalore some unknown persons killed one Ramesh Poojary (40) by assaulting him with unknown weapon owing to previous enmity.

• A case under House trespass, outraging the modesty of woman, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 08/10/2011 at 1300 hrs accused Dhanu and others criminally trespassed into the house belonging to one Umavathi (42) R/o Kudroli Mangalore and tried to outrage her modesty by pulling her hand and assaulted her and her son Sushanth with hand and also damaged the showcase. Motive seems to be civil dispute between them.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 11/10/2011 at 1415 at Kadri Temple Mangalore one Yaduvara driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MB-2849 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg.KA-19-X-1566. As a result motorcycle rider Pramod (23) R/o Kervashe village Karkala Taluk and pillion rider Arun Kumar sustained grievous injuries.

·        A case under NDPS Act has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 11/10/2011 at 1130 hrs on credible information PSI (Crime) Mangalore East PS along with staff apprehended one Ibrahim (24) R/o Kasaragodu District Kerala State near Kadri Park Kadri Mangalore Taluk and seized 280 grams of Ganja from his possession.

·      A case of Man missing has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. One Vittal Prabhu (60) R/o Bondel Kavoor Mangalore Taluk who left his house on 11/10/2011 at 1300 hrs did not return to his house thereafter. He has been found missing since then.

·       A case of Woman missing has been registered in Urwa Police Station. One Seema (24) R/o Ashoka Nagar Mangalore left her house on 06/10/2011 at 1030 hrs and did not return to her house thereafter. She has been found missing since then.
