·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 06/10/2011 at 2330 hrs on NH 66 at Kulai village Mangalore Taluk one driver of VRL bus bearing Reg. No. KA-25-C-4651 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Bahaddur Sonar a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries. Further he succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.

·        A case under Causing Grievous hurt by endangering life (sec 338) has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 04/10/2011 at 1430 hrs at Kayargoli cross Kurnadu village Bantwal Taluk one Abdul Khader a cleaner of Tipper Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-35-A-7777 got sustained grievous injuries while he working and suddenly Tipper lorry collapsed over him due to the negligence of P.T Abdul Hameed the driver of said Tipper.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mulki Police Station. on the night of 04/10/2011 one Sunil (29) R/o Kukkatte Kollur village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by jumping into well near his house owing to health problem.
