·        A case under M.V. Theft has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. In between 0730 hrs and 1830 hrs of 15/10/2011 some unknown culprits committed theft of a motorcycle Hero Honda Passion Plus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-8563 belonging to one Mohammad (32) R/o Ullal Mangalore that was parked at parking place of South Dakke Mangalore. The total value of stolen property is 25,000/.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic West Police Station. On 15/10/2011 at 1820 hrs near city bus stand at State bank Mangalore one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Y-5960 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Abudul Khadar (68) R/o Kannur Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries. The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

·        A case under NDPS Act has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 16/10/2011 at 1030 hrs on credible information PSI (crime) Mangalore South PS along with staff intercepted one Hamsar (19) R/o Farangipete Bantwal Taluk near Chethan Agro chemicals at Neereshwalaya Road Mangalore and seized 105 grams of Ganja worth Rs.2, 000 from his possession.

·        A case under Karnataka Excise Act has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 16/10/2011 at 2150 hrs on credible information PI Bajpe PS along with staff intercepted Madhava Suvarna (43), Santhosh (30) and other two persons who were selling transporting liquor bottles illegally in an auto rickshaw near Bajpe Mosque Bajpe village Mangalore Taluk and seized 04 boxes of liquor bottles and an auto rickshaw all in worth Rs. 30,000/.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. In between 14/10/2011 and 1900 hrs of 16/10/2011 one Dinesh Kumar R/o Jain Compound Attavara Mangalore committed suicide by hanging in his house owing to personal problem.
