On 30/11/2012 at 1945 hrs at Monkey stand Mangalore one Meenakshi P Bhandari R/o Andrei east Mumbai was her way to Mangaladevi temple by walk. At that time two unknown persons came in a unknown motorcycle and snatched the Mangalasuthra from her neck and ran away. The value of the property is Rs. 1, 48,000/.

- A case of Burglary has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. In between 1730 hrs of 29/11/2012 and 0900 hrs of 30/11/2012 some unknown culprits gained entry into the Govt 1st grade college at Balmatta Mangalore by breaking the back door lock and committed theft of a computer all in worth Rs. 20,000/.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 30/11/2012 at 1530 hrs at KSRTC bus stand Bejai Mangalore one Basappa Poojar driver of KSRTC Bus bearing Reg. No. KA-28-F-1848 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Virupaksha Betageri a conductor of said bus caused him serious injuries and died on the spot.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 30/11/2012 at 1600 hrs near Kaarnadu village Mangalore Taluk one unknown car driver drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EA-7017 and also motorcycle dashed a pedestrian. As a result motorcycle rider Shrikanth and pedestrian one Kamala sustained simple injuries. Further the car driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

On 27/11/2012 at 1100 hrs at Mantrady village Mangalore Taluk accused one BAnnaya Karantha and others abused Baba (48) R/o Mantrady village Mangalore Taluk a in filthy language referring to their cast. The motive seems to be civil dispute between them.
