·         A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace Hurt along with criminal intimidation has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 20/10/2012 at 1100 hrs at NITK campus at Surathkal Mangalore Taluk  accused Vijay Devadiga abused one Nanyappa Bangera  Taluk in filthy language and also assaulted him with hand and they also gave a life threat owing to trivial issue.

·   A case of Woman missing has been registered in Ullal Police Station. One Apoorva (21) R/o Someshwar Mangalore Taluk left her house on 18/10/2012 at 0930and did not return to her house thereafter. She has been found missing since then.

·       A case of Woman missing has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. One Ardika Kamath R/o Flat No. 305 Kambla Kudroli Mangalore left her house on 20/10/2012 at 2030 hrs and did not return to her house thereafter. She has been found missing since then.
