·         A case of Burglary has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. In between 2030 hrs of 18/10/2012 and 0830 hrs of 19/10/2012 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Mayya Electronics shop at Iddya village Mangalore Taluk belonging to one Shiva Prasad Mayya (39) R/o Surathkal Mangalore by breaking the back door lock and committed theft of Mobile phones, Cameras and Home theaters all in worth Rs. 1,00,000/.

·         A case under Cruelty by Husband and his relatives, Criminal intimidation along with Dowry Prohibition Act has been registered in Bajpe Police Station on the complaint of one Vayola D Souza W/o Christ Kiran D Souza R/o Ullal village Mangalore. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Christ Kiran D Souza (husband) and his relatives Dasy D Souza, Savera D Souza, Renni D Souza and Lawrence Praveen Noronha gave physical and mental harassment to Vayola D Souza to bring more dowry and also gave life threat to her.

·     A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 17/10/2012 at 1145 hrs on NH 66 at Kulai bus stop Mangalore one Hemavathi R/o Kulai village Mangalroe a passenger of the bus bearing Reg. No. KA-35-A-9270 while getting down from the bus, the driver of bus one Puneeth moved the bus in a negligent manner due which she fell down from the bus and sustained simple injuries.

·     A case of Woman missing has been registered in Panambur Police Station. One Manjula (31) R/o Meenakaliya Panambur Mangalore left her house on 30/09/2012 and did not return to her house thereafter. She has been found missing since then.
