• A case of MV Theft has been registered Mangalore East Police Station. On 12/09/2012  in between 1020 hrs of 1200  hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-18-E-53 belonging to one Poorvik I.N R/o Chikamagalore District that was parked in front of near Somayaji commercial office at Bunts hostel Mangalore. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 25,000/.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 11/09/2012 at 1430 hrs at Bala village Mangalore Taluk one driver of Sumo bearing Reg. No. KA-20-B-8391 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EA-5958. As a result one Sawan (25) R/o Kulai village Mangalore Taluk rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.

Unnatural Death Report: 03

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 12/09/ 2012 1015 hrs one Koragappa Poojary (67) R/o valpady village Mangalore Taluk accidentally slipped into a well near his house while taking water from the well and died due to drowning.

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mulky Police Station. In between 2130 hrs of 11/09/2012 and 05300 hrs of 12/09/2012 one Sudharshan Shetty (17) R/o Mannabettu village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by hanging  in her house owing to personal problem.

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Panamburu Police Station. In between 2200 hrs of 12/09/2012 and 0100 hrs of 13/09/2012 one Bhuvendra (40) R/o NMPT Colony Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by hanging in his house owing to personal problem.

Missing Persons: 01

• A case of Girl missing has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. One Nirmala (13) R/o Panapila village Mangalore Taluk left her house on 12/09/2012 at 0915 hrs and did not return to her house thereafter. She has been found missing since then.
