  • A case under Rioting, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 26/11/2012 at 1730  hrs accused Cheriyamonu and others 10 persons  forming into an unlawful assembly at Mijaru  village Mangalore Taluk  and abused Karunakara (41) R/o Mijaru village Mangalore Taluk  in filthy language and assaulted him with iron rod and with hand  and also gave life treat to him owing to trivial issue.

  • A case under Causing death due to negligence (sec 304 A) has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 26/11/2012 at 1245 hrs one Binayaar  Kumar  who was working on the 4th floor MRPL building at Kalavaru village Mangalore Taluk accidentally fell down to ground and got serious injuries due to the negligence of Priyaranjan Singh R/o Safety officer , Abhimanyu  R/o Site Engineer and Abhilash  R/o supervisor. Further he was died on the way to hospital.

  • A case under 32, 34 Karnataka Excise Act has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 26/11/2012 at 1330 hrs on credible information PSI Moodabidre PS  along with staff conducted a raid on a shop at Badaga Mijaru village Manglore Taluk  and seized 73 bottles of liquor worth Rs.3,000/ by arresting Rukmayya Poojary (50) and  Ganapathi Gowda (36) who was selling these liquor bottle illegally there.

Missing Persons: 01

·         A case of Boy missing has been registered Moodabidre Police Station in 25/11/2012 at 1600 hrs . One Parashuram Muchakandi (17)   left his Alwas hostel at Moodabidre and did not return hostel there after. He has been found missing since then.
