·        A case of Ordinary Theft has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. In between 1100 hrs and 1145 hrs of 08/11/2011 some unknown culprits committed theft of HP Laptop that was kept inside the room belonging to one Varun Bharadhwaj R/o NITK Hostel Surathkal Mangalore. The value of stolen property yet to be ascertained.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 12/11/2011 at Kempugudde Ulayibettu Mangalore one driver of School bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-8961 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one K Mohammad (05) R/o Kempugudde Ulayibettu Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 11/11/2011 at 1500 hrs at Industrial Area Baikampady Mangalore one Ummar Farooq driver of Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-20-9931 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which tempo capsized. As a result tempo driver one Ummar Farooq sustained simple injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 13/11/2011 at 1930 hrs in front of old Taluk Office at Mangalore one Karunakar driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-2369 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one unknown male person a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries. The bus driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

·        A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 12/11/2011 at 2310 hrs accused Bhavith Raj Shetty abused one Rukmaya @ Santhosh Gowda R/o Thalapady village Mangalore Taluk in filthy language near his house and assaulted him with stone owing to trivial issue.

·        A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 12/11/2011 at 2130 hrs some unknown accused criminally restrained Victor, Anthony and Silkai near South Dhakke Mangalore and abused them in filthy language and assaulted them by hand and with stone and iron rod and also gave life threat to them owing to trivial issue.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 30/10/2011 at 1230 one Venkappa Gowda R/o Moodaperara village Mangalotre Taluk committed suicide by consuming poison at his house owing to personal problem. Further he was admitted to Wenlock hospital Mangalore where he declared dead while under treatment on 12/11/2011 at 2000 hrs.
