• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 23/07/2012 at 1600 hrs Kantavara cross Beluvayi village one Steven Pereira rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-20-P-5675 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-20-X-5518. As a result Prakash rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-20-X-5518 sustained simple injuries.

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 24/07/2012 at 1830 hrs one unknown male dead body aged about 55 yrs was found in Gurupura River at Dakke Mangalore Taluk. It seems to be a case of drowning.
