·        A case under Cruelty by Husband, Criminal intimidation along with Dowry Prohibition Act has been registered in Kavoor Police Station on the complaint of one Shabana Bhanu (24) R/o Paduperara village Mangalore. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Mohammed Azeem Alam (husband), Mohammed Alam Usman, Dilshad Bhanu, Tharannum, Sheikh, Suhail gave physical and mental harassment to Shabana Bhanu to bring more dowry and also gave life threat to her.

·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 08/06/2012 at 1900 hrs at Baikampady Mangalore Taluk one Ravi driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AD-3546 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EE-8719. As a result one Mallesha rider of motorcycle sustained grievous injuries died on the spot.
