·        A case of Attempt to Robbery has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station relating to an incident of chain snatching. On 15/11/2011 at 1030 hrs at Bhavanthistreet Mangalore one Shantha Kamath R/o Bhavanthistreet Mangalore was at her home. At that time one Mohammed Shafi snatched the gold chain from her neck and tried to run away. Further the accused was caught red hand by the public and handed over to the Police.

·        A case of Ordinary Theft has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station on the complaint of Subramanya Bhat Sud Div Engineer BSNL Kadri Mangalore. In between 03/11/2011 and 11/11/2011 some unknown culprits committed theft of iron plates and other iron items that were kept at BSNL yard Kadri Mangalore. The total worth of stolen property is Rs. 7, 20,911/.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 15/11/2011 at 1645 hrs at Bejai Church Road Mangalore one Clevon Crasta driver of Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AC-2700 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Ramdas Prabhu (41) R/o Mannagudde Mangalore and Mohammad Sahadas pedestrians and caused them grievous injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 15/11/2011 at 1230 hrs near Narya cross at Balepuni village Bantwal Taluk one Jagadish driver of Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-3184 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which tempo capsized.  As a result Umesh (30) and Gopala (50) travelers of said tempo sustained grievous injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 10/11/2011 at 1530 hrs on NH 66 at Srinivasanagar Surathkal Mangalore one driver of Pickup vehicle bearing Reg. No. KA-20-B-4274 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-25-3675 driven by one Althaf H Hunugunda (23) R/o Navalgunda Dharwad district. As a result both the vehicle got damaged. No causalities reported.

·         A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 15/11/2011 at 1115 hrs at Karnadu junction Mulki Mangalore Taluk one unknown driver of bus drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Susheela a pedestrian and caused her grievous injuries. The bus driver scaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 05/11/2011 at 1500 hrs one unknown male dead body found at Nellikai Road Mangalore. The death seems to be due to some illness.

Missing Persons: 01

• A case of Girl missing has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 07/11/2011 at 0900 hrs one Sridevi (17) R/o Ulippady village Mulki Mangalore Taluk left her house and did not return to her house thereafter. She has been found missing since.
