·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 31/10/2011 at 1400 hrs near Gurupura Mangalore Taluk one driver of Tipper lorry bearing Reg. No. MH-04-CJ-6705 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-D-500. As result auto rickshaw driver Yathiraj and Babu Bhandari, Jyothi Prakash and Devadas who were travelling in the said Autorickshaw sustained grievous injuries. Further Babu Bhandari was admitted to S.C.S hospital at Mangalore where he was declared dead while under treatment on the same day.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 31/10/2011 at 0945 hrs at Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk one unknown motorcycle rider bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EC-7927 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Hasainar Areef R/o Thalapady village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Konaje police Station. On 30/10/2011 at 1645 hrs at Pajeeru village Mangalore Taluk one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-ED-369 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-ED-6627. As a result No. KA-19-ED-6627 motorcycle rider Mohammad Ibrahim pillion rider Nafeesa and another motor cycle rider Abdul Basheer sustained grievous Injuries.

·        A case of Rioting along with Hurt has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 30/10/2011 at 1805 hrs accused Vasantha and other 5 other persons forming into an unlawful assembly near Someshwara Temple Ullal Mangalore Taluk and assaulted one Mohammad Faizal by wickets. They also assaulted Ismail Asif (25) R/o Ullal village Mangalore Taluk and Zhakariya with wickets who came to help Mohammad Faizal owing to trivial issue.

• A case of Boy missing has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. One Prakash (15) R/o Shakthi Nagar Padavu village Mangalore Taluk left his house on 28/10/2011 did not return to his house thereafter. He has been found missing since then.
