Fatal: 01

·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 20/11/2011 at 0930 hrs at Moodu Marnadu village Mangalore Taluk one driver of crusher bearing Reg. No. KA-03-AA-977 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-K-4269. As a result motorcycle rider one Adarsh (29) R/o Vaalpady village Mangalore Taluk and pillion rider one Isak sustained serious injuries. Further Isak was admitted to Alva’s hospital at Moodabidre where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on the same day.

Non-Fatal: 02

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 20/11/2011 at 1120 hrs at Kolambe village Mangalore Taluk one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-20-B-1001 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner due which one Mohammad Shareef (42) R/o Addur Mangalore Taluk who was traveling in the said bus was thrown out of the bus and sustained simple injuries.

·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panamburu Police Station. On 20/11/2011 at 1330 hrs on NH 66 near Deepak petrol bunks Panamburu Mangalore Taluk one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-764 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner collided against a Maruti Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-18-498. As a result one Shankar R/o Katipalla Mangalore, Rekha, Girija and pedestrian one Ramesh who was traveling in the said Maruti Omni car sustained simple injuries.

·       A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along Hurt has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 20/11/2011 at 1915 hrs accused Anwar and Mansoor abused one Sayyad Babu R/o Nellikaru village Mangalore Taluk in filthy language at Nellikaru village Mangalore Taluk and assaulted with hand and blade owing to personal enmity.

Unnatural Death Report: 02

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 20/11/2011 at 1030 hrs one Kumar (35) who was found dead near Uppina Dakke Mangalore. The death seems to be due to heavy drunkenness.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Panamburu Police Station. On 20/11/2011 at in between 1800 hrs and 1930 hrs one Rajivindar Singh (28) R/o Baikampady Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by hanging in her house owing to personal problem.
