·        A case of Burglary has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. In between  09/10/2011 of 2030 hrs and 10/10/2011 of 0530 some unknown culprits gained entry into the Janadhwani Samparka Kendra at Falnir village Mangalore Taluk by breaking the door lock and committed theft of cash Rs. 13,000/ and other articles all in worth Rs.20,000/.

·         A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 10/10/2011 at 1545 hrs at Marpady village Mangalore Taluk one driver of Tipper Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-16-B-9090 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EC-3462. As a result rider of motorcycle Hendry Servo (40) sustained serious injuries and died on the spot.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 09/10/2011 at 2230 hrs on NH 66 at Surathkal Town Mangalore Taluk one Nagaraj driver of K.S.R.T.C bus bearing Reg. No. KA-17-F-1140 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one MukluThopu a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
