·         A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 18/11/2012 at 2105 hrs on NH 66 at Kottarachowki Mangalore one Udaya driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-20-P-2099 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against an Auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-D-3135. As a result Auto rickshaw driver one Sunil sustained serious injuries. Further Sunil succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.

·         A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 18/11/2012 at 0700 hrs at Pajeeru village Bantwal Taluk one driver of pickup bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-5257 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-07-M-1923. As a result motorcycle rider one Kamalaksha (29) R/o Pavoor village Mangalore Taluk sustained grievous injuries.

·         A case of gambling under Karnataka Police Act has been detected in Panambur Police Station. On 18/11/2012 at 1600 hrs on credible information PSI Panambur PS along with his staff conducted a raid on open place at Thokoor. At the time of raid Police found 06 persons playing “Ander- Bahar” with cards. The Police seized cash Rs. 1120/ and playing cards from the spot by arresting Giriyas Feravo, Maxi D’souza, Hareesh Poojary, Alphons Vegus, Howral D’souza, and Oswald Santhanees who were indulged in gambling.
