A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered
in Surathkal Police Station. On 28/10/2012 at 2020 hrs at Surathkal village
Mangalore Taluk one Prince Driver of LPG gas tanker bearing Reg.No. KA-21-A-4837
drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one
unknown male aged about 40 yrs-45 yrs a pedestrian and caused him serious
injuries. Further he succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.

village Mangalore Taluk one one Shivaram Hebbar K.V rider of motorcycle bearing

against one Thilak P Shettigar R/o Surathkal Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and
caused him simple injuries.

Hosabettu village Mangalore Taluk one Ashraf driver of Tata sumo bearing Reg.
No. KA-03-B-2074 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided
against one Nagamma a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.

village mangalore Taluk one Hallesh rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-20-U-1170
drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against another
motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EC-9242. As a result Reg. No. KA-19-EC-9242 motorcycle
rider one Prasad (22) R/o Shirthadi village Mangalore Taluk sustained grievous
injuries.

A case of house gambling under Karnataka Police
Act has been detected in Panambur Police Station. On 29/10/2012 at 1315 hrs on
credible information PI Panambur Police Station along with his staff conducted
a raid on public place Thanniru bavi at Panambur. At the time of raid Police
found 05 persons playing “Ander- Bahar” with cards. The Police seized cash Rs.7,410/
and playing cards from the spot by arresting Ravi (26), Manjunath (29), Subhash
(29), Dayananda (27), and Suresh Rai (30) who were indulged in gambling.
