- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 26/09/2012 at 1330 hrs at Idya village Mangalore Taluk one Jaleel rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EC-8679 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Rafeeq R/o Katipalla village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 26/09/2012 at 1310 hrs on NH 66 at Kuduremukh junction at Mangalore Taluk one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AA-4567 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-18-K-745. As a result motorcycle rider one Bhasavaraju (49) R/o Panambur Mangalore sustained simple injuries.

- A case under Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 26/09/2012 in between 1130 hrs and 1530 hrs one Kishan R/o Idya village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by hanging in his house owing to personal problem.

- A case of Man missing has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. One Devendra Poojary (52) R/o Kulai village Mangalore Taluk left his house on 27/07/2012 at 1100 hrs and did not return to his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
- A case of Boy missing has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. One Sadaf Manipady went to Milagrees School at Mangalore on 25/09/2012 at 0930 hrs and did not return to his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
