• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 31/08/2012 at 1100 hrs at Derebail Mangalore Taluk one Omni car driver bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-8303 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-8178. As a result one Santhosh R/o Mangalore rider of motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

• A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with criminal Intimidation has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 30/08/2012 at 1400  hrs near HPCL at colony Panambur accused Shafi and Mohammad Asif  abused one Usman R/o Surathkal Mangalore Taluk  in filthy language and also assaulted him by stone.  Owing to trivial issue.

• A case of Man missing has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. One Basappa Veerabadrappa Sheeli (62) R/o Dharavwada District who went to his room at Roopa hotel lodge at Balmata Mangalore and did not return to his room thereafter. He has been found missing since then.

• A case of Girl missing has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. One Azween R/o Katipalla village Mangalore Taluk left her house on 30/08/2012 at 1200 hrs and did not return to her house thereafter. She has been found missing since then.
