• A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 07/08/2012 at 1855 hrs at Baikampady Mangalore Taluk one Razak driver of Tata Ace bearing Reg. No. KA-19-D-162 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Ahammad Ali a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries and died on the way to hospital.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 06/08/2012 at 1620 hrs at Moolur village Mangalore Taluk one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-20-C-2454 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Mahammad Rabeeha a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries. The bus driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

• A case under SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act along with Hurt has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 07/08/2012 at 1145 hrs at Manampadi village Mangalore Taluk accused Rekha Shetty and Madukara Shetty abused one Krishni R/o Manampadi village Mangalore Taluk in filthy language referring to his caste and also assaulted him with stone owing to trivial issue.

• A case of Boy missing has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 06/08/2012 at 1800 one Abubakkar Althaf R/o Natekal Mangalore Taluk left his St.Alosiyus College Kodialbail Mangalore and did not return his house thereafter. He has been found missing since then.

• A case of Boy missing has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 06/08/2012 at Padavu village Mangalore taluk one Nishanth (20) R/o Shakthinagar Mangalore Taluk left his Saint Raimonds college at Vamanjoor and did not return his house thereafter. He has been found missing since then.
