In the complaint it is alleged that accused Mohammed Azeem Alam (husband), Mohammed Alam Usman, Dilshad Bhanu, Tharannum, Sheikh, Suhail gave physical and mental harassment to Shabana Bhanu to bring more dowry and also gave life threat to her.

As a result car driver one Ahammad, Yusuf and Aisha died on the spot and one Ahammad was admitted to Mukka Hospital at Mangalore sustained grievous injuries.
